KMTC Short Courses Fee Structure, Duration, Target Group 2021

KMTC Short courses are offered to individuals, corporates or tailor-made for organizations. These short courses help one to meet Continuous Professional Development (CPD) requirements and remain relevant in profession.

Application is made online by logging in to the KMTC portal – available at www.kmtc.ac.ke and choose the option short courses and follow the steps as prompted by the system.

Adherence Counseling Those with certificate in HTS, health or social sciences, counseling community health & development.

1 Week full time + 1 month practicum/ mentorship 16,500
Echocardiography Radiographers, Healthcare professionals with strong background Anatomy & physiology. 3 months (part-time) 90,500
Monitoring & evaluation Project Managers, Project Officers, Project Assistants, health information officers,

practitioners involved in designing, supervising, coordinating or monitoring interventions (minimum Diploma)

Healthcare Entrepreneurship Healthcare workers and those in healthcare business 2 weeks 25,500
Health Systems Management Healthcare workers with minimum qualification of Diploma (healthcare professionals, health administrators, human resources officers, procurement officers, project managers, etc) 4 weeks (online) 40,500
Leadership Development Program Training targets teams from healthcare units. Teams learn through implementing a leadership project chosen by their health system leaders 4 workshops of 3 days each.

  • Tuition fee cover all training materials. Venue is KMTC campus offering the course.
  • Tailor-made in-house courses also provided; logistics arrangements as agreed with sponsor.
  • To apply, go to KMTC.ac.ke/portal or visit the KMTC campus nearest to you. Indicate the campus you prefer.
  • Remedial studies and tuition for re-sit for courses lasting upto six months shall attract fees/charges of 50% of the program fees.
