KCSE 2021 Registration Fees breakdown for repeaters Non-citizens

For the past few years the government of Kenya has been paying examination fee for both KCPE and KCSE candidates. However, for  candidates who are sitting their exam for the second time(repeaters) and foreign students they fully incur the total cost of exam.

The examination fee is payed to the official Kenya National Examination Council, KNEC, accounts by school heads. Students are supposed to pay as per the number of subjects he/she will register. This fees is deposited to KNEC accounts, the pay-in slip is then attached to the 2021 Fees Summary sheets.

The registration of candidates for the 2020 KCPE, KCSE and KCSE QT examinations will is currently underway and it will end on 15th February, 2020.

Below is a breakdown of the applicable fees for the 2020 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education, KCSE, repeaters and non Kenyans.

PROJECT- BASED SUBJECTS

Students who are undertaking project based subjects are expected to pay additional fee to facilitate their projects.

Those taking Home Science pay an additional Kshs200 while those taking Aviation Technology are expected to add Kshs2,500.
