For the past few years the government of Kenya has been paying examination fee for both KCPE and KCSE candidates. However, for candidates who are sitting their exam for the second time(repeaters) and foreign students they fully incur the total cost of exam.
The examination fee is payed to the official Kenya National Examination Council, KNEC, accounts by school heads. Students are supposed to pay as per the number of subjects he/she will register. This fees is deposited to KNEC accounts, the pay-in slip is then attached to the 2021 Fees Summary sheets.
