1. Asumbi Teachers Training College

Located in Homa Bay County, this college offers high quality training to aspiring teachers. The college offers a number of diploma as well as degree courses.

2. Murang’a Teachers Training College

Murang’a TTC was opened in 1991 in Murang’a County and sits on 100 acres of land. It was one of the five best performing colleges 2017 producing one distinction, and over 70% success rate.

3. Kilimambogo Teachers Training C

This institution college is located along Thika-Garissa highway approximately 25 kilometres from Thika town. The college too had one distinction in 2017

4. Tambach Teachers Training College

The college is situated in Keiyo North district along the Eldoret-Kabarnet road, 43 kilometers West of Eldoret town and 11 kilometers from Iten. It was established in the late 1980s by the Kenyan government through the support of The World Bank.

5. Narok Teachers Training College

The college was established in 1991 and is located in Narok town, Narok County. The college had 63.7% success rate in 2017 PTE.

6. Kericho Teachers Training College

Located off Kericho-Nakuru road in Kericho County, Kericho TTC emerged as the top teachers training college in 2013.

7. Thogoto Teachers Training College

The institution is located in Kikuyu, Kiambu County. The college offers comprehensive training programs in language, psychology, child development, administration and basic mathematics.

8. Kamagambo Adventist Teachers Training College

The college is situated in Kisii County along Kisii-Rongo road and offers a wide range of diploma and certificate courses in primary teacher education, bible and theology.

9. Machakos Teachers Training College

The college was started by the colonial government in March 1958 in Machakos County. The college registered a 64.75 % success rate in 2017.

10. Baringo Teachers Training College

Located 5 kilometers off the Kabarnet-Kabarntonjo road, the college provides post-secondary teacher training courses.
