List of Nominated of MPs, Senators For UDA, ODM, Jubilee, Wiper Parties

The list of Members of Parliament (MPs), Senators, Women Representatives, Youth Representatives, and Persons with Disabilities nominated by political parties has been published in the Gazette by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC).

The overall number of nominees for the 32 seats is made up of 18 representatives from the Kenya Kwanza Alliance, led by President-elect William Ruto, and 14 from Raila Odinga’s Azimio la Umoja One Kenya.

Each candidate reflects the appropriate number of qualified candidates and alternates between male and female, save for the women candidates under Article 98 (1) (b) of the Constitution, in priority in which they were listed. The seats referred to in the schedules have been allocated in proportion to the total number of seats won by the candidates of the political party at the general election held on the 9th August, 2022.

And that –

  • The name of the nominated member of the respective Political Party is listed in the Second Column to the Schedules;
  • The truncated Identification Document Number of every nominated member is indicated in the Third Column to the Schedules;
  • The Gender of the nominated member’s Gender is indicated in the Fourth Column to the Schedules;
