Nyandarua County is among the counties that are located in the Central Region of Kenya. Nyandarua County has a total landmass of 3285.7 Km². Nyandarua County borders Laikipia County to the North and North East, Nyeri County and Murang’a County to the East, Kiambu County to the South and Nakuru County to the South West and West.
As per the 2019 Census, the population of Nyandarua County was six hundred and thirty eight thousand two hundred and eighty nine (638,289). In the 2017 General Elections, Nyandarua County had a total number of three hundred and thirty five thousand, six hundred and ninety six (335,696) registered voters.
The Governor of Nyandarua County is H.E Kimemia Francis Thuita. The Senator of Nyandarua County is Hon. Mwangi Paul Githiomi and Hon Gitau Faith Wairimu is the Women Representative.

Kinangop Constituency
Kinangop Constituency hws eight electoral wards. The wards are Engineer, Gathara, North Kinangop, Murungaru, Njabini/Kiburu, Nyakio, Githabai and Magumu. The current Member of Parliament is Hon. Zachary Kwenya Thuku. In the 2017 General Elections, the Constituency had a total of 109,241 Voters.
Kipipiri Constituency
Kipipiri Constituency has four wards which are; Wanjohi, Kipipiri, Geta and Githioro. The current Kipipiri Constituency Member of Parliament is Hon Amos Kimunya. In the 2017 General Elections, the Constituency had a total of 50,416 Voters.
Ol Kalou Constituency
Ol Kalou Constituency has five wards. The wards in Ol Kalou Constituency are Karau, Kanjuiri Range, Mirangine, Kaimbaga and Rurii. Its current Member of Parliament is Hon. David Njuguna Kiaraho.In the 2017 General Elections, the Constituency had a total of 68,376 Voters.
Ol Jorok Constituency
Ol Jorok Constituency’s current Member of Parliament is Hon. Michael Mwangi Muchira. Ol Jorok Constituency has four wards which are; Gathanji, Gatima, Weru and Charagita. In the 2017 General Elections, the Constituency had a total of 54,732 Voters.
Ndaragwa Constituency
Ndaragwa Constituency has four wards. The four wards are Leshau/Pondo, Kiriita, Central and Shamata. The current Ndaragwa Constituency Member of Parliament is Hon. Jeremiah Ng’ayu Kioni. In the 2017 General Elections, the Constituency had a total of 52,831 Voters.
