Mombasa County is among the counties that are located in the Coastal Region of Kenya bordering the Indian Ocean. Mombasa County has a total landmass of 229.7 Km². Mombasa County is the smallest County in Kenya according to the area it covers.
As per the 2019 Census, the population of Mombasa County was nine hundred and thirty nine thousand three hundred and seventy (939,370). In the 2017 General Elections, Mombasa County had a total number of three hundred and thirty five thousand, six hundred and ninety six (335,696) registered voters. In the 2017 General Elections, Mombasa County had a total of five hundred and eighty thousand six hundred and forty four (580,644) registered voters.
The Governor of Mombasa County is H.E Hassan Ali Joho. The Senator of Mombasa County is Hon. Mwinyihaji Mohamed Faki and Hon Mohamed Asha Hussein is the Women Representative.

Jomvu Constituency
Hon. Bady Twalib Bady is the Member of Parliament of Jomvu Constituency. Jomvu Constituency has three wards. The three wards of Jomvu Constituency are Jomvu Kuu, Magongo and Mikindani. Jomvu Constituency registered 69,307 voters in the 2017 General Elections.
