Kajiado County is located in Rift Valley region of Kenya. Kajiado County covers an area of 21,871.1 Km². Kajiado County borders Tanzania. Kajiado County also borders with Narok and Nakuru County to the West, Kiambu County and Nairobi County to the North, Machakos County, Makueni County and Taita-Taveta County to the East.
The Population of Kajiado County as per the 2019 Kenya Population and Housing Census the population was one million one hundred and seventeen thousand eight hundred and forty (1,117,840). In the 2017 General Elections, Kajiado County had a total of four hundred and eleven thousand two hundred and twenty seven (411,267) registered voters.
The County Governor of Kajiado is H.E Lenku Joseph Jama Ole. Hon. Mpaayei Phillip Salau is the Senator of Kajiado County and the County’s Women Representative is Hon Teyiaa Janet Marania.
Kajiado County is divided into five (5) constituencies and thirty (30) electoral wards.

Kajiado North Constituency
Hon. Joseph Wathigo Manje is the current Kajiado North Constituency Member of Parliament. The Constituency has five electoral wards which are Olkeri, Ongata Rongai, Nkaimurunya, Oloolua and Ngong. In the 2017 General Elections, the Constituency had a total of 127,953 Voters.
Kajiado Central Constituency
Hon. Elijah Memusi is the current Kajiado Central Constituency Member of Parliament. The Constituency has five electoral wards which are Purko, Ildamat, Dalalekutuk, Matapato North and Matapato South. In the 2017 General Elections, the Constituency had a total of 56,463 Voters.
Kajiado East Constituency
Hon. Peris Pesi Tobiko is the current Kajiado East Constituency Member of Parliament. The Constituency has five electoral wards which are Kaputiei North, Kitengela, Oloosirkon/Sholinke, Kenyawa-Poka and Imaroro. In the 2017 General Elections, the Constituency had a total of 102,849 Voters.
