Homa Bay County is among the counties that are located in the Nyanza Region of Kenya. Homa Bay County has an area of 3,152.5 Km².
As per the 2019 Census, the population of Homa Bay County was one million one hundred and thirty one thousand nine hundred and fifty (1,131,950). In the 2017 General Elections, Homa Bay County had a total number of four hundred and seventy six thousand nine hundred and thirty two (476,932) registered voters.
The Governor of Homa Bay County is H.E Awiti Cyprian Archelius Otieno. The Senator of Homa Bay County is Hon. Kajwang Moses Otieno and Hon Wanga Gladys Atieno Nyasuna is the Women Representative.

Kasipul Constituency
Hon. Charles Ong’ondo Were is the current Kasipul Constituency Member of Parliament. Kasipul Constituency has five wards which include; West Kasipul, South Kasipul, Central Kasipul, East Kamagak and West Kamagak.
It had fifty seven thousand three hundred and forty four (57,344) registered voters in the 2017 General Elections.
Kabondo Kasipul Constituency
Kabondo Kasipul Constituency is represented Hon. Eve Akinyi Obara. It has four wards which include; Kabondo East, Kabondo West and Kokwanyo/Kakel O Kojwach.
The Constituency had forty nune thousand four hundred and thirty two (49,432) registered voters in the 2017 elections.
Karachuonyo Constituency
The Member of Parliament of Karachuonyo Constituency is Hon. Andrew Adipo Okuome. The Constituency has seven wards which include; West Karachuonyo, North Karachuonyo, Central Kanyaluo, Kibiri, Wangchieng and Kendu Bay Town. It had forty four thousand and four (44,004) voters in the 2017 General Elections.
Rangwe Constituency
Hon. Lilian Achieng Gogo is the Rangwe parliamentary representative. Its wards are four and they include; West Gem, East Gem, Kagan and Kochia. It had fifty two thousand five hundred and sixteen (52,516) registered voters in the 2017 General Elections.
Homa Bay Town Constituency
Hon. George Peter Opondo Kaluma is the current Homa Bay Town Constituency Member of Parliament. Homa Bay Town Constituency has four wards which include; Homa Bay Central, Homa Bay Arujo, Homa Bay West and Homa Bay East. It had fifty thousand six hundred and twenty seven (50,627) registered voters in the 2017 General Elections.
Ndhiwa Constituency
Hon. Martin Peters Owino is the current Ndhiwa Member of Parliament. Ndhiwa Constituency has seven wards which include; Kwabwai, Kanyadoto, Kanyikela, Kabuoch North, Kabuoch South/Pala, Kanyamwa Kologi and Kanyamwa Kosewe. It had eighty five thousand and fifty six (85,056) registered voters in the 2017 General Elections.
Suba North Constituency
The Member of Parliament of Suba North Constituency is Hon. Millie Grace Akoth Odhiambo Mabona. The Constituency has five wards which include; Mfangano Island, Rusinga Island, Kasgunga, Gember and Lambwe. It had 51,454 voters in the 2017 General Elections.
Suba South Constituency
The Member of Parliament of Suba South Constituency is Hon. John Mbadi Ng’ong’o. The Constituency has four wards which include; Gwassi South, Gwassi North, Kaksingri West and Ruma-Kakshingri . It had 46,499 voters in the 2017 General Elections.
