Sportpesa is undeniably the biggest betting company in Kenya making billions of shilling in profit every year.
The company’s CEO  is Ronald Karauri who is the former chairman of the Kenya Airline Pilots Association. He worked at Kenya Airways for more than a decade rising through the ranks then left mid 2015.
Sportpesa is fully owned by Pevans East Africa Ltd. Pevans East Africa Ltd is owned by 10 shareholders. They include:

4. Paul Wanderi Ndung’u – 17%
5. Ronald Kamwiko Karauri (CEO) – 6%

9. Ivan Kalpakchiev – 2%
