Gov’t Advertises Jobs With Up to Ksh445K Salary; How to Apply

On Tuesday, April 11, the Export and Processing Zones Authority (EPZA) announced plans to hire at least 25 people.

The government institution stated in a statement that some jobs will be permanent and pensionable, while others will be for a four-year contract.

“Candidates should attach a detailed curriculum vitae, copies of academic and professional certificates, testimonials, and National Identity Card,” read part of the statement.

Some, on the other hand, are in various job groups ranging from 2 to 11. Job Group 2 employees are paid between Ksh143K and Ksh445K, while Job Group 3 employees are paid between Ksh140K and Ksh350K.

Principal Investor Support Officer (Grade 5), Principal ICT Officer (Grade 5), Mechanical Engineer (Grade 7), Electrical Technologist (Grade 7), Mechanical Technician (Grade 9), Laboratory Technician (Grade 9), Electrical Technician (Grade 9), Human Resource Assistant (Grade 9), Investor Support Assistant (Grade 9) and Drivers were among the permanent and pensionable positions (Grade 11).

General Manager Operations and Investor Support (Grade 2), Manager Operations and Investor Support (Grade 3), Manager Human Resource and Administration (Grade 3), and Corporate Secretary & Manager Legal Services are among the positions covered by the four-year contract (Grade 3).

Others included Assistant Manager Operations and Investor Support (Grade 4), Head of Nairobi and Eastern Region (Athi River) (Grade 4), Head of Coast and North Eastern Regions (Mombasa) (Grade 4), and Research Assistant Manager (Grade 4) and Administration Assistant Manager (Grade 4).

HOW TO APPLY

All interested candidates should apply online through Google forms at www.epzakenya.com/careers.

They are encouraged to fill out the forms with the job reference and the job they are applying for.

A police clearance certificate from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), a compliance certificate from the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB), a tax compliance certificate from the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA), clearance from the Ethics & Anti-Corruption Authority (EACC), and a clearance certificate from Credit Reference Bureau were also required under Chapter Six of the Constitution (CRB).

All applications must be completed and returned by May 1, 2023.
