TSC has urged teachers to ignore fake news that is doing rounds in social media concerning March 2020 payroll.
Beatrice Wababu who is the head of communication, has assured teachers that March salary will be paid in good time.
“It has come to the attention of the Commission that some fake news are circulating about teachers March 2020 payroll. We wish to advise teachers to ignore these fake news. Further we wish to assure all teachers that their March 2020 salaries are being processed and will be paid in time”, said Beatrice Wababu.
The commission has also requested teachers stay safe and keep the life threatening coronavirus at bay by practising good personal hygiene.
“Meanwhile we urge all teachers to continue staying safe from Covid 19 virus by washing their hands, keeping social distance and staying at home”, added Beatrice Wababu.
Yesterday the commission thanked teachers for continuously complying with government directives on containing covid-19.
“TSC is happy to note that the teaching fraternity has complied with all government directives on beating the spread of coronavirus over the last seven days. .The Commission encourages all teachers to continue staying safe from Covid 19 virus”, r read a message from TSC.
The commission also expressed hope that concerted efforts will help the country in beating coronavirus pandemic.
“It will take you and me to beat this pandemic and Kenya will triumph. We must triumph”, said the commission.
