The teachers Service Commission, TSC, is set to introduce Teacher Professional Development (TPD) Training.
The first phase of this training will cover piloting of English delivery in both primary and secondary schools in some selected sub- counties countrywide.
Through the advert seen by Jambo news, TSC has indicated that the aim of this programme is to enhance continuous teacher development for teachers of English.
The advert further indicated that consultancy will provide technical support to the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) to develop and implement the school based teacher support system for the English subject in targeted sub-counties.
Application
The Commission has further has asked organizations with training capacity to apply for consideration to design the TPD school based courses.

The winning consultancy contract bidder shall be expected to support TSC to establish a School Based Teacher Support System (SBTSS) aimed at providing professional development training in subject matter as well as pedagogical content knowledge to teachers of English in the targeted sub-counties.
