The Teachers’ employer is seeking to recruit tutors to fill positions in teacher training institutions across the country.
In a memo dated January 6, Teachers Service Commission advertised 154 positions for tutors in teacher training colleges and the Centre for Mathematics, Science and Technology Education in Africa (Cemastea).
According to the memo, 130 of the tutors will fill TTCs while the 24 are set to fill positions at the Cemastea as national trainers.
Suitable applicants are required to make their application through the commission’s online portal latest by Tuesday, January 25, 2022.
Secondary school teachers who have a minimum grade of C4, T-scale 9 and senior master IV stand greater chances of securing these opportunities.

Applicants are also expected to hold a degree in education (science) or an equivalent course from a recognized institution.
Those wishing to apply should not submit a hard copy version to the Commission. No payments is required of any kind.
