Serving Intern Teachers Dealt A blow In Advertised December 2020 TSC Internship Posts

“Serving teacher interns are not eligible to apply. For detailed information on the application procedure and the available vacancies per County and institution, you are advised to visit the TSC Website,” said TSC boss Dr. Nancy Macharia.

This will undoubtedly be a major blow bearing in mind that these teachers whose contractual terms will end by the end of this year will only have one option of being employed by BOM, unless TSC advertises for teaching posts.

It is increasingly clear that most Board of Management (BOM) pay not more than Ksh 10,000 monthly to its employees.

It is ridiculous to serve for a whole year as an intern teacher and thereafter you only end up being employed by a school Board of management. This is the worst thing to even imagine especially in the wake of covid-19 pandemic where schools are literally not stable to pay its employees.
