Education CS: Primary and Secondary School lessons to be broadcast on radio, TV and YouTube

Education cabinet secretary prof. Magoha has said that learning of primary pupils and secondary students to begin on 23rd March.

Learners were ordered to stay at home following the coronavirus pandemic will now have an opportunity to attend their lessons through live broadcast on TV, radio and YouTube.

The CS has indicated that the ministry of education has partnered Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC) to broadcast radio programmes on weekdays.

“In partnership with the Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC), the ministry will broadcast radio programmes daily from Monday to Friday through Radio Taifa and EnglishService,” said Magoha.

In Garissa, Mandera and Wajir, lessons will also be broadcast on Iftini FM and Transworld.

YouTube lessons will be made available on the channel Edu TV Kenya: lessons will be live-streamed and also recorded for future access.
