Thika court has sentenced two Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) for one year in probation after they were found guilty of stealing mobile phones from examination officers.
Appearing before Chief Magistrate Kyanya Nyamori, the two students pleaded guilty of stealing an Infinix Note 5 worth Ksh18,000 from the Invigilator Eunice Wanjiku and a Techno N65 of Ksh10,000 from the officer Hassan Gabow posted at the Exam Station.
The court heard that the two committed the alleged crime on November 6, while sitting their exam papers.
