TSC Mourns Demise Of Mohammed Hamis – Principal Tononoka Secondary

Teachers Service Commission, TSC, has mourned the death of Mohammed Hamis, who until his demise was the principal of Tononoka secondary school.
In a statement, the teachers’ employer through its head of corporate affairs, Beatrice Wababu, described the death of Mr. Hamis as a great loss to the teaching fraternity.
She said: “TSC has learnt with sorrow about the death of Tononoka Secondary School Principal Mr Mohammed Hamis. Coming at the prime of his career, this death is a great loss not only to his family but also the teaching fraternity at large.
“We condole and stand with the family, students and school community of Tononoka Secondary School during this difficult time.”
The news about the death of Mr. Hamis was first revealed to public by the his deputy principal, Mr. Nzaro.
Death of Hamis comes barely a week after covid-19 infections were reported in Tononoka secondary, prompting its closure.
Cases of covid-19 infection have been on a rising trend in the last few days. This has informed the ministry of education not to green light full reopening of schools.
