This is a national public boys boarding secondary school located in Embu, Kenya. It was established in the year 1953 as a primary school and later on became a secondary school in 1965. The school is under the sponsorship of the Anglican Church of Kenya. During all this time, it had been a mixed secondary school. It acquired its current name in 1987 and by 1996, it was purely a boys’ school. It offers 8-4-4 education system under the Kenyan curriculum. The school became upgraded to a national school in the year 2011.

It is known as one of the best performing schools in Embu county. Year after the other, this school does not fail to amaze people by how well they can ace the KCSE exams. In 2018’s KCSE results, 134 candidates sat for the exam and they were able to get a mean score of 61.741, which is a B plain. The school has put much in place to ensure that the students not only do well in school but also become useful people in the society at large.
