Magata Bruce Mackenzie of Gilgil Hills Academy Tops KCPE 2021 Exam

Magata Bruce Mackenzie from Gilgil Hills Academy is the top student in the 2021 KCPE exam scoring 428 out of 500 marks.

The second best student is Momanyi Ashley Kerubo from makini school 327.

Announcing the results at Mtihani House, Education Cabinet Secretary George Magoha this is the last examination being released under the Jubilee administration, a regime that has seen a six-year run of the cleanest and flawless national examination campaign.

Education CS George Magoha said there were no examination irregularities in the 2021 KCPE.

“The exam has been watertight. We only had a few cases of teachers taking photos of the exam once they left the containers. This is why we banned phones from exam centres,” he said.

He also said a total of 320 candidates from seven exam centres attempted to commit exam malpractice.
