Strathmore school (private) topped nationally in KCSE 2018 by flooring all giant schools. A total of 84 candidates sat for KCSE in Strathmore school making the school to register a performance index of 72.28.
Moi High school Kabarak also private school took position two nationally. With a total candidates of 330, the school had a performance index of 72.12.
On the other hand Moi Tea Girls an extra county school in Kericho county turned tides and took position one in public schools. The school had a total of 136 candidates and recorded a performance index of 69.59.
Alliance Girls of National school in Nairobi county also performed excellently. Of the 399 candidates who sat the examination at the school, some 35 candidates managed a straight A.
