KMTC Taveta Campus Background information & Location

Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) – Taveta Campus is one of the 71 constituent campuses of KMTC. The campus was established in September 2019 under a flagship project of the National Government. It first admitted its students in the department of Health Promotion and Community Health where they were to undertake a 6 month course in Community Health and Development and a Certificate course in Community Health Assistants. KMTC Taveta Campus is situated in a quiet environment in Taveta Constituency, Taita Taveta County, Kenya. The campus has big dreams with it and looks forward to admitting more students over time.

The facilities available at KMTC Taveta Campus include:

KMTC Taveta Campus Clinical experience sites

The main clinical experience site used by students at KMTC Taveta Campus is the Moi Voi County Referral Hospital. Other clinical experience sites used include:

• Taveta Sub County Hospital
• Rekeke Health center
• Njukini Health center
• Kitobo disoensary
• Ndilindau dispensary

KMTC Taveta Campus Clubs, societies and sports

The clubs available at KMTC Taveta Campus include Seventh Day Adventist, Muslim Association, Christian Union and Young Christian Society. The sports available at the campus include football, netball, athletics, volleyball, rugby, netball, table tennis and darts.
