KMTC Tana River Campus Background information & Location

Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) – Tana River Campus is one of the 71 constituent campuses of KMTC. It is the first institution of higher learning in the campus and was founded in September 2016. KMTC Tana River campus is situated in Hola Town, near the IEBC offices, opposite the Department of Forestry in Tana River County, Kenya.

KMTC Tana River Campus Clinical experience sites

The main clinical experience sites used by the students at KMTC Tana River Campus is the Tana River County and Referral Hospital. Students at the campus are allowed to go to health facilities in the neighboring counties for clinical expeiences.

The campus’ administration encourages students to get involved in extracurricular activities. Clubs available in the campus include Seventh Day Adventist, Christian Union and Youth Christian Society. The sporting activities available at the campus include football, netball, athletics, volleyball and table tennis.
