KMTC Mbooni Campus Background Information and Location

Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) – Mbooni Campus is one of the 71 constituent campuses of KMTC. President Uhuru Kenyatta laid the foundation stone in December 2016 to pave way for the construction of the campus that cost ksh.79 million from the Mbooni National Government- Constituency Development Fund kitty. The KMTC Board of Directors approved the commencement of the campus in September 2019.

The health facilities around Makueni campus are the main clinical experience sites used by the students at KMTC Mbooni Campus. Other hospitals and health facilities in the other counties in the rest of the country are also used as clinical sites and for attachment.

KMTC Mbooni Campus Clubs, societies and sports

KMTC Mbooni Campus is a place that encourages students to take part in extra-curricular activities of their choice. Clubs and sports have been introduced to aid with these. Clubs available in the campus include Young Catholic Association (YCA), Christian Union (CU) and Muslim Group. The sports available include athletics, darts, football, volleyball, basketball and table tennis.
