KMTC Mandera Campus Background Information & Location

Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) – Mandera Campus is one of the 71 constituent campuses of KMTC. The campus was established in 2018 with its first intake being in April 2019 where the first students admitted were those taking Community Health and Development. The campus sits on a 78- acre piece of land in Mandera town opposite Moi Stadium and Khadija Girls Secondary School about 2km from the Mandera County Referral Hospital. KMTC Mandera Campus currently has 73 students enrolled.

The clinical experience sites available at KMTC Mandera Campus are:

The clinical experience sites available to students at KMTC Mandera Campus are the health facilities in Mandera County such as the Mandera County Referral Hospital. Other health facilities in the entire country are used too.

KMTC Mandera Campus Clubs, societies and sports

The campus provides an environment that encourages students to engage in extra-curricular activities. There are a good number of clubs, societies and sports in the campus. The clubs available include Muslim Group, Young Christian Association (YCA) and Christian Union (CU) whereas the sports available include football, athletics, basketball, table tennis and volleyball.
