KMTC Lamu Campus Background Information & Location

Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) – Lamu Campus is one of the 71 constituent campuses of KMTC. It is located in Lamu town, Lamu County, Kenya. The campus was established in September 2016 as a collaboration between the KMTC Board of Directors and the County Government of Lamu.

KMTC Lamu Campus Facilities

The Lamu County Government has given KMTC Lamu Campus a block at the Mokowe Sub-county Hospital that has since been converted into 4 classrooms, with one of them being a skills lab and another one being a computer lab. The County Government also allocated a 10-acre piece of land right next to the hospital. This is where a tuition block with 6 classrooms and one computer lab were constructed.

KMTC Lamu Campus Clubs, Societies and Sports

KMTC Lamu Campus has a wide range of sporting activities for students to get involved in. Some of the sporting activities in the campus are soccer, handball, netball as well as badminton.
