Kebirigo High school which is an extra county school has dwarfed giant schools in Nyamira county to emerge the best in the just released KCSE 2020 results.
The schools outshone other academic giants in the county. In the 2020 KCSE examinations the school posted a mean score of 8.819 which is a B (plain).
Other schools that registered stellar performance include Nyambaria National that had a mean of 8.7624 and Sironga Girls national school whose mean score was 8.2.
Nyambaria school registered 543 candidates in the KCSE 2020 exam.
Of the 543 registered students, 508 managed to score above C+ (plus), which is the minimum university entry grade. This translates to a percentage of 93.55% securing direct entry to university under the placement body, KUCCPS.
At the same time, Sironga Girls a national school that had 392 registered candidates 341 scored above C+ thus securing direct entry to university since this is the minimum university entry grade as stipulated by colleges and universities placement body

The school had a total candidature of 199 in the KCSE 2020 exam.
The good news is that 191 candidates managed to score above C+ (plus), which is the minimum university entry grade.
This translates to a percentage of 95.98% securing direct entry to university under the placement body, KUCCPS.
