How to receive/Check KCPE 2020 results; KNEC SMS Code 20076 and Online process

Kenya Certificate of Primary Education, KCPE, 2020 results is set to be released today. The 2020 KCPE exam started on March 22 and ended on March 24, with rehearsals having been done on March 19. It was delayed because of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The release of the results at Mitihani House, Nairobi barely 21 days after 1,179,192 candidates in 28,460 schools sat for the national examinations.

KNEC contracted 199, 639 professionals to man the exercise.

According to CS Magoha, male candidates post better results in Maths, Science, Social Studies and Religious Education in 2020 KCPE, as female learners emerge top in English and Kiswahili.

He also added that ten out of 15 top KCPE candidates come from public schools, as eight girls scoop top positions.

How to Receive/Check KCPE 2020 RESULTS

KCPE 2020 Candidates can receive their results by either using an KNEC SMS code or through online process.

SMS code is the most preferable because its fast unlike the online process that experiences too much delay.

Remember that candidates collect their results KCPE 2020 from their respective
examination centres a day after they have been officially released..

Checking KCPE 2020 results via KNEC  SMS Code 20076

Individual candidates’ results can be accessed by sending a Short
Text Message (SMS) containing the candidate’s Index Number followed by KCPE to 20076.

How to send SMS for KCPE results 2020

For example; if the index number of the candidate is 34520402001, then the student should send (SMS)  34520402001KCPE to 20076.

Checking KCPE 2020 results Online

Once the KCPE results have been released they will be available online on the KNEC portal
