How to Capture Learner’s Assessment Scores on KNEC CBA Portal

Once pupils have finalised their tests the next head is usually uploading of score in KNEC CBA portal.

In this write up am going to take you through how to capture learner’s assessment scores on CBA portal-Knec.

Capturing Assessment Outcomes for learners

STEPS TO CAPTURE A LEARNER’S ASSESSMENT OUTCOMES

1. Access CBA portal through the KNEC website: www.knec.ac.ke by clicking
CBA PORTAL or by using the URL: https://cba.knec.ac.ke

2. Login with the School Username and Password

3. Select a Grade or Level

4. Click on Capture Assessment Outcomes button

5. Click on Capture Assessment Outcomes button for the specific
learning area

6. Capture Assessment Outcomes for each learner then click on Save Outcomes

To edit learner outcomes: click on Amend
Outcomes button for the specific learner then click on Save Outcomes button after making the changes

To Capture Previous Outcomes while logged in:

1. Click on Upload Previous Scores button

2. Select Grade/ Level

3. Select learning area

4. Capture outcomes for a learner(s) with missing outcome(s)

5. Click on Save Outcomes button

Learners can only be registered at Grade 3 for Age Based pathway or at Foundation and Intermediate levels for Stage Based pathway.

1. Access CBA portal through the KNEC website: www.knec.ac.ke by clicking CBA PORTAL or by using the URL: https://cba.knec.ac.ke

2. Login and select a Grade or Level

3. Click on Register Learners button

4. Click on Add Learner(s) button

5. Capture learner details as required

6. Click on Save learner button

To amend learner’s details: select the learner, click on Edit button then on Save learner button to update the details

To remove a learner from registration list: select the learner then click on Delete button

To restore deleted learners:

click on Restore Deleted Learners button
