Gov’t To Sensitize School principals on Form one 2024 Admission Exercise

Ministry of education will organize an exercise aimed at sensitizing how form one 2024 exercise will be carried out in each region.

The reporting period for all 2024 Form One students will be from 6th February 2024 to 13th February 2024. In case of any queries, parents are advised to visit their respective County Directors of Education for assistance.

All admitted students should be captured on NEMIS by 2nd March, 2024. All the CDEs are required to ensure compliance with this requirement.

SUBJECT: REGIONAL SENSITIZATION ON THE 2024 FORM ONE SELECTION AND ADMISSION EXERCISE

This is to inform you that there will be regional sensitization meetings for the 2024 Form One

Selection and Admission exercise from Monday, 23rd January to Wednesday, 25th January, 2024 at designated venues within your regions. The details of these venues are shown in the attached appendix.

To this end, the hosting Regional Directors of Education for each of the regions are requested to do the following:

  • Invite participating CDEs, Sub-County Directors of Education (SCDE), Principals of Public and Private Secondary Schools, and other stakeholders within the region for the exercise
  • Prepare a one-day programme for sharing the selection and admission guidelines and a crucial demonstration of NEMIS that will include the launch of an ICT solution to report and monitor the admission of students
  • Liaise with CDEs and all Principals and those of the hosting institutions to arrange for conference facilities, sitting arrangement, and provision of a public address systent

Please note that this exercise requires a lot of dedication, diligence, and commitment for it to succeed.
