Renowned aviation company 748 air services has announced introduction of daily flights from Nairobi to Mombasa and Diani.
In a press release to the media on June 1, 2021, the 748 Air Services company is set to begin two daily flights from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport where by terminal 2 is set to land at Moi International Airport in Mombasa.
Details from the company have revealed that passengers who will be flying Nairobi – Diani route, will access one daily flight from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), to Ukunda Airport.
According the aviation company’s Managing Director Moses Mwangi, two more routes in other tourism destinations after the Kisumu launch are set to start. The introduction of two more routes will make domestic travel convenient and affordable.
“We are pleased to announce the start of two more routes in other key tourism destinations after Kisumu launch,” said 748 Air Services, Managing Director, Moses Mwangi.
Ahmed Jibril, the 748 Air Services chairperson further revealed that the first flight for the newly introduced routes will commence daily at exactly 7:30 a.m from Jomo Kenyatta international Airport (JKIA) to Mombasa and leave Mombasa for Nairobi at 10:30 a.m. The Nairobi Diani flight will leave at 11:20Am and arrive by 12:30 Noon time.
He added that by introducing the two routes, the company is targeting to make domestic travel convenient and affordable.
“We want to make domestic travel convenient and affordable with the introduction of these two routes. The first flight will depart JKIA in Nairobi at 7.30 a.m. for Mombasa and leave the coastal city for the capital at 10.30 a.m. Whilst, The Nairobi-Diani flight will leave JKIA at 11:20am to arrive in Diani by 12:20 p.m,” said Ahmed Jibril, 748 Air Services Chairman.
The renowned aviation services company is using credible services of versatile dash 8 Q400 aircrafts that have a carrying capacity of 78 passengers with its return ticket set to cost Ksh10,700.
