Leicester face the prospect of losing their Algerian star and are now weighing up an offer for the 29-year-old, who is out of contract
The premier league champions are interested in a move for Hatem Ben Arfa but they face competition from Sevilla and Paris Saint-Germain.
Ben Arfa was one of Ligue 1’s standout stars last season, scoring 17 goals and registering six assists for Nice.
The 29-year-old is now available on a free transfer and has already received a concrete offer from Sevilla, who are set to appoint Jorge Sampaoli as their new coach.
Leicester City have also contacted Ben Arfa’s representatives to register their interest and could view the France international as a potential replacement for Riyad Mahrex.
PSG had not made the signing of Ben Arfa a priority but the French champions’ stance has now changed with Unai Emery set to replace Laurent Blanc as manager.
