Muthambi Girls High School was started in 1967 by the Consolata Catholic Missionaries following the industrious initiative of Reverend FatherJulius Kathure who hailed from the then Chuka parish. The school’s land was donated by the community to accommodate Muthambi Catholic Church, Muthambi primary school, and the girls’ secondary school.
