Abenakyo, 22, Miss world Uganda in the just concluded miss world will take over from Zari as a Tourism Ambassador.
Zari was appointed to the ambassadorial role two months ago by Tourism and Wildlife minister Godfrey Kiwanda.
The chairperson of the Uganda Tourism Board, Daudi Migereko, was pleased that giving an opportunity to Quinn Abenakyo will boost the country’s tourism industry.
“This is an opportunity to use Abenakyo as the face of Uganda to boost local tourism. Abenakyo put up an excellent performance and as a country, we are bound to benefit immensely as a result of the publicity Uganda has had as a result of that excellent performance,” Migereko said.
