School’s KCSE Results/ Result Analysis
The school has managed to maintain a good performance record over the years. In 2019, the school recorded a mean score of 5.832 in the KCSE examinations. Out of the 262 candidates who sat the examinations, 88 qualified for direct university entry.

School history and basic information
Miathene boys high school started on February, 17th 1964, as a government-aided school. Its enrolment was 35 students who were under the management of CCEA and later became M.C.K as the sponsor. Initially, the school shared a compound with the present Kanjalu Day Primary school, while its first structures, which were made up of ‘Miarre’ (palm trees) were situated at the present Kanjalu Primary School ground. The school later relocated to its present site.
