Samburu County is a county that is located in the Rift Valley. The county borders borders Baringo County to the west, Laikipia County to the South, lsiolo County to the East, Turkana County to the northwest and Marsabit County to the north.

Samburu County has an area of 21,065.1 KM² and as per the 2019 Census, the population of Samburu County was three hundred and ten thousand three hundred and twenty seven (310,327) people. Samburu County has an annual growth rate of 2.1% yearly.

In the 2017 General Elections, Samburu County had a total number of eighty two thousand seveb hundred and ninety four (82,794) registered voters.

The Governor of Samburu County is H.E Moses Lenolkula Kasaine and the Samburu County senator is Lelegwe Steve Ltumbesi. The Women Representative of Samburu County is H.E Maison Leshoomo .

Samburu County is divided into three (3) constituencies and fifteen electoral wards. The Constituencies include Samburu East, Samburu West and Samburu North. Below is the list if the three constituencies, Members of Parliament per constituency, wards and number of voters.

Samburu East Constituency

Hon. Jackson Lentoi Lekumontare is the current Samburu East Constituency Member of Parliament. Samburu East Constituency has four wards which include; Waso, Wamba West, Wamba East and Wamba North. It had 22,696 registered voters in the 2017 General Elections.

Samburu West Constituency

Samburu West Constituency is represented Hon. Naisula Lesuuda. It has five wards which include; Lodokejek, Suguta Marmar, Maralal, Loosuk and Poro. The Constituency had 36,110 registered voters in the 2017 elections.

Samburu North Constituency

The Member of Parliament of Samburu North Constituency is Hon. Alois Musa Lentoimaga. The Constituency has six wards which include; El-Barta, Nachola, Ndoto, Nyiro, Angata Nanyokie and Baawa. It had 24,588 voters in the 2017 General Elections.
