KMTC Kwale Campus Background Information & Location

Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) – Kwale campus is one of the 71 constituent campuses of KMTC located in Tumbe, Msambweni sub County, Kwale County, Kenya. The campus was previously known as Matuga Medical Training College. KMTC Kwale campus was established in 1977 due to the need to train Public Health Officers (PHOs). The campus currently has 240 students enrolled.

• Students who take Environmental health sciences (public health) course which is field based are free to go to any county of their choice.
