 School history and basic information

Morop Farm community donated land to AIC church. The church then leased the farm to a private developer who started a private school on the land and used the old farm structures as classes and dormitories.

However, the government later took over the management of the school after the private developer was unable to run it. It was named Kampi ya Moto Secondary School in 1989. In 1991, Former President Daniel Arap Moi assisted in building an administration block and form four classes after the church asked for his help.

The boys started to phase out, and by the end of 1995, all the boys had been phased it. The school name was then changed to AIC Morop Girls’ Secondary School in 1995.
