31 New Covid-19 Cases in Kenya, Total Tally Now At 1,192

Kenya’s confirmed Covid-19 cases surge to 1,192 after 31 more people test positive for the virus in the preceding 24 hours says as reported by president Uhuru Kenyatta today while addressing the nation.

The number of fatalities in the country remains at 50 while total samples that have been tested stand at 57,650.

“The coronavirus pandemic has and will continue to undermine our efforts to revitalize our economy for the unforeseeable future. We have cumulatively tested 57, 650 samples out of which 1,192 persons have tested positive and lost 50 Kenyans,” said the president.

The president further noted that the rates of infection would rise and the government had taken measures to manage it.

“Rate of infections may surge upwards if we fail to comply with the guidelines by the Ministry of Health,” he stated.
