Wote Technical Training Institute is a TVET Centre that was established as a skills training centre in 1990 by Voluntary Service Overseas to offer short- term courses to youth polytechnic instructors and Jua Kali artisans. It has since grown to the renowned college it is today.

Wote Technical Training Institute is located close to St. Catherine Mixed Day Boarding Primary School along Wote- Makindu road, 3 km from Wote town. It is situated between Makueni Girls High School and the Ministry of public works.
