KMTC Kapkatet Campus Background Information & Location

Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) – Kapkatet Campus is one of the 71 constituent campuses of KMTC located in Kapkatet, Kericho county, Kenya. It was established in September 2007as an initiative between the KMTC Board of Directors and the local community members so as to serve the district of Bomet, Kericho, Bureti and Kipkelion. When the campus was opened in September 2007, it only had 50 Clinical Medicine Students. The campus currently has over 500 students enrolled, a number that is expected to go up during the next intake.

The campus currently has clubs, societies and sports. Sports available include football, athletics, darts and volleyball whereas clubs available are Christian Union (CU), Young Christian Society (YCS), Seventh Day Adventist (SDA) and Muslim. The campus has done its best to ensure that students get involved in extracurricular activities. The introduction of these games, clubs and societies do help in achieving this.
