Education CS Amina Mohammed has released KCSE 2018 at KNEC headquarters. CS Amina noted that a total of 650205 candidates sat for KCSE 2018 out of which 338628 were boys while 321576 were girls.
The number of students who scored coveted grade A plain rose from 142 (2017) to 315 (2018). Those who scored minimum university entry grade increased with over 20,000 from 2017. This year 90,377 students scored C+ and above. This indicates a 13.77% percent from last year where 70, 073 attained C+ and above.

While releasing KCSE 2018, CS Amina noted that the results of 100 candidates were cancelled while results of some centres will be cancelled.
