Education Cabinet Secretary George Magoha has stated that 1,225,693 candidates who sat for their 2021 KCPE exam will know how they performed on either Monday, March 28, or Tuesday, March 29.

The CS made that revelation Wednesday, March 23, when he opened KCSE exam container at Kibra, Nairobi.
According to CS Magoha marking has been completed and that results will be announced after President Uhuru Kenyatta gives him the green light to do so on Monday or Tuesday next week.

“We have completed marking of the exam. We are now finalising the tallying and verification of the results before they can be certified as ready for release,” he said.

The KCPE exam was taken between March 7, 2022, and March 9, 2022.
On the other hand the KCSE 2021 exam, which commenced on February 28, 2022, is currently underway and will be concluded on April 1, 2022.
